  1. Open your Unreal project
  2. Go to Edit → Plugins
  3. Search for "WispliVoice"
  4. Enable it and restart the editor

3. Start Wispli

  1. Open the Wispli desktop app
  2. Click the Plug icon in the sidebar to enter Voice Control mode
  3. You should see "Unreal Engine — Connected" in the Applications panel

4. Verify Connection

In the Wispli Voice Control panel, check:

  • The Unreal Engine card shows "Connected" with a glow effect
  • The command count shows 25 commands available

That's it — you're ready to start using voice commands!

Troubleshooting

Plugin not connecting?

  • Make sure Unreal Engine is open before entering Voice Control mode
  • Check the UE Output Log for [WispliVoice] messages
  • Try restarting the Wispli app

Commands not recognized?

  • Speak clearly and use natural phrasing
  • Check the Command Palette in Wispli for available commands and example phrases
  • The system handles variations, but staying close to example phrases helps

"Please select actor(s) first"?

  • Many commands require a selection in the editor
  • Select actors in the Outliner or viewport before speaking
  • The error message tells you which command needs a selection
