Create quick text replacements triggered by specific phrases.

What Are Shortcuts?

Shortcuts let you say a short trigger phrase and output longer or formatted text.

Example:

Trigger: "my email"
Output: "john.smith@company.com"

When you say: "Send it to my email"
Wispli outputs: "Send it to john.smith@company.com"

Creating Shortcuts

  1. Open the Shortcuts panel in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Shortcut
  3. Enter:
    • Trigger: What you'll say
    • Replacement: What Wispli outputs
  4. Click Save

Tips

Trigger Phrases

  • Use unique phrases unlikely to appear naturally
  • Keep triggers short but specific
  • Avoid common words that might false-trigger

Replacements

  • Can include multiple lines
  • Can include special characters
  • Can include formatted text

Managing Shortcuts

Edit

  1. Open the Shortcuts panel in the sidebar
  2. Click edit icon
  3. Modify and save

Delete

  1. Open the Shortcuts panel in the sidebar
  2. Click delete icon

Enable/Disable

Toggle shortcuts on/off without deleting them.
