Wispli offers a free tier with limited usage. For unlimited transcription and all premium features, you can subscribe to one of our paid plans. See our pricing page for details.

What platforms does Wispli support?

Wispli is currently available as a desktop application for Windows 10/11. Download it from the Microsoft Store.

Where do I download Wispli?

What languages does Wispli support for transcription?

Wispli supports 99 languages for voice recognition, including:

How accurate is the transcription?

Wispli uses advanced AI models to provide high accuracy. For best results:

  • Use a quality microphone
  • Speak clearly at a moderate pace
  • Minimize background noise

Can I add custom vocabulary?

Yes. You can add technical terms, names, and industry-specific vocabulary to improve recognition accuracy. Open the Vocabulary panel in the sidebar to manage your terms. See Custom Vocabulary.

Translation

How does real-time translation work?

When translation is enabled, you speak in your native language and Wispli automatically translates your speech into your target language. The process is:

  1. Your speech is transcribed in your source language
  2. The text is translated to your target language
  3. The translated text is formatted according to your selected style

Which language pairs are supported?

Wispli supports translation between any of the 99 supported languages. You can speak in any language and translate to any other supported language.

Is translation accurate?

Translation uses advanced AI models to provide natural, contextually appropriate translations. However, as with any machine translation, results may vary for highly specialized or nuanced content.

English Coaching

What is the English Score?

The English Score is a comprehensive assessment of your spoken English based on:

  • Grammar - Sentence structure and correctness
  • Vocabulary - Word choice and variety
  • Fluency - Natural flow and pace
  • Coherence - Logical organization of ideas

Each category is scored on a scale aligned with CEFR levels (A1-C2).

Privacy & Security

Is my voice data stored?

No. Wispli processes your audio in real-time and does not store voice recordings. Only the resulting text is saved locally on your device.

What data is sent to the cloud?

Audio is sent to secure cloud services for transcription processing. The audio is processed and immediately discarded. See our Privacy & Data page for full details.

Can I use Wispli offline?

Currently, Wispli requires an internet connection for transcription and translation.

Troubleshooting

My microphone isn't working

Check the following:

  1. Ensure your microphone is properly connected
  2. Grant Wispli permission to access your microphone
  3. Test your microphone in your system settings

Transcription is slow

If you experience delays:

  1. Check your internet connection
